Cocoa Beach To Lift Drinking Ban June 1st

Order #17 goes into effect 11:59 pm May 31, 2020.

COCOA BEACH, FL– Drinking on Cocoa Beach has not been allowed since March 19. City officials announced on Thursday that drinking will be allowed again on June 1.

Social distancing restrictions such as keeping at least six feet apart from other groups as well as no groups larger than 10 people are still in place.

Last week Florida Today reported more than 13,000 pounds of trash picked up on the beaches of Cocoa Beach. That being said, when heading out to your next beach visit please remember to pick up your trash.
