14th Annual Turtle Splash When & Where: Saturday, May 4th, Rotary Park
Come join The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project in their signature annual fundraising event to help support the quality-of-life programs for children with special health care needs. “Adopt” a rubber turtle and watch as they splash their way to the finish line, “parents” of the winning and placing turtles will win prizes.

Thunder On The Beach When & Where: May 16th – 19th – Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier
Watch world famous teams race through the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at speeds close to 200MPH. This event is the loudest, fastest boat race in Florida and includes race parties, concerts, and chances to see awesome race boats and their teams up close.
5th Annual Armed Forces Rescue 5k When & Where: Saturday, May 18th – The Avenue, Viera
Join and register to help celebrate and support our Armed Forces. Featuring a children’s choir singing patriotic music, live music from a local rock band and various vendors, recruiters exhibits, prizes, demos, and games. All proceeds will go back to the Rescue Special Functions Committee and the Military Affairs Council. The Rescue Special Function Committee is the booster club for the 920th Rescue Wing. All money goes back to our families going through hard times or illnesses and also support our family day that we host annually.
Space Coast Triathlon When & Where: May 19th – Cocoa Riverfront Park
Held in historic Cocoa Village and includes a quarter-mile swim in the Indian River, 12 mile bike leg on Indian River Drive and sprint with a five kilometer run on Rockledge Drive.
14th Annual Memorial Day Tribute When & Where: May 27th – Cocoa Riverfront Park
Come out for the annual celebration and take time to honor the fallen veterans of war with a guest speaker, special Flag folding ceremony, 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, a moment of silence, entertainment and much more.
